The Kawasaki Z1000 is a four-cylinder motorcycle in the street fighter or standard style.
Kawasaki introduced the Z1 motorcycle in 1972. Four years later they introduced the Kz900. The original Kawasaki Z1 was the first series of Japanese motorcycles with the combination of four cylinders, dual overhead cams and 903 cc (55.1 cu in). It was one of the most powerful motorcycles produced up until that time, and set multiple world records And even though its quarter mile times and top speeds were grossly overestimated, actual numbers were impressive enough to earn the bike the nickname “The King”. In 1977 a z1000 ridden by Reg Pridmore became the first Japanese bike to win an AMA Superbike national when it took the victory at Pocono Raceway. In 2003 Kawasaki introduced a completely revamped 30 year anniversary edition of the Z1000. It used a modified engine from the Kawasaki ZX-9R, and was bored out by 2.2 mm resulting in bigger displacement, more low-RPM torque, and only a slight power loss of 4 bhp from the original ZX9. In 2004, Kawasaki released the Z1000's smaller brother, the Z750. In 2007, Kawasaki released a new Z1000. The Z-series since the 1970s until today are also known as the “Z”, “Zed”, and “Z1k”.

Kawasaki Vulcan

2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 Classic LT
A Powerfully Moving Experience

Road-tripping style is all about big machines, long distances and luxury. Kawasaki already had the biggest, baddest V-twin cruiser on the street, so it was only natural to add a few special items and create the biggest, baddest traveling bike out there — the Vulcan 2000 Classic LT. Starting from a 2,053cc fuel-injected V-twin base, Kawasaki equipped the Classic LT with beautiful leather saddlebags, a custom touring saddle, passenger backrest and a wind-cheating acrylic windshield. The world just shrunk. The biggest Vulcan is ready to transport two people and quite a bit of luggage with power and style to spare.

The striking, top-grain, reinforced cowhide saddlebags form the core of the Classic LT’s touring package. The leather is carefully selected to minimize flaws, and deep-dyed to prevent scraping off the finish. These ideally-sized bags feature a slant-top opening held shut by two 1.5-inch wide leather straps fitted with chrome buckles and stealth quick-release fasteners. Rolled and riveted lid tops, along with metal reinforced upper edges on the bags, help maintain shape and keep unwanted moisture out of the bags.

2010 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14
Ultimate Performance from Kawasaki’s Flagship Superbike
The mission of Kawasaki’s flagship Ninja® ZX™-14 is not unlike that of an exotic supercar — to project the awesome power and technology of its parent company in rapid fashion, every time the throttle is twisted. It may not cost a million dollars or have a V-12 engine, but the ZX-14’s 1352cc fuel-injected inline-four is the closest thing on two wheels. Its monocoque chassis and wind-tunnel developed body represent the cutting edge of sportbike design. The ZX-14’s systems are designed to allow riders to exploit the full potential of man and machine, while effortlessly dispatching all challengers.

2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager ABS

2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager ABS
2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager ABS
Built for the touring rider who has to have it all—and look good having it…
Flagship of the Vulcan® 1700 family, the Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager® and Voyager ABS come equipped with everything the serious touring rider needs to pile on the miles in comfort and style: a large frame-mounted fairing, amazing storage capacity, a sculpted touring seat, electronic cruise control, a premium sound system and a powerful long-stroke 1700cc, liquid-cooled, 52° V-Twin engine.
For 2010, the Vulcan Voyager ABS’s complement of cutting-edge electronics is headlined by a new, second-generation version of the Kawasaki Advanced Coactive Braking Technology (K-ACT) system. Available on the ABS-equipped Voyager, K-ACT uses advanced electronics to translate the rider’s braking inputs into both the front lever and rear pedal into smooth, balanced deceleration and maximum stopping performance. Basically, the front lever also activates the rear brake, and the rear pedal also engages the right front caliper: K-ACT sees to it that that happens seamlessly and efficiently, and the new, second-generation system uses the same smaller, lighter ABS unit and the faster, higher-spec brake ECU found on the Kawasaki Concours™ 14 ABS motorcycle for even smoother, more precise operation. (Unlike the Concours 14 ABS, however, only a single K-ACT mode is available.) K-ACT’s coactive function does not engage when braking is initiated at speeds below 12 mph, and the ABS function is automatically disengaged at speeds below four mph.
